Activity : English Day
Address : H.Ja'ani RT/RW : 009/011 No: 13, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta 11530
Today was the fourth week for us to teach the student from Paud Ceria, when we arrived they were praying and using exercise uniform. Today was and English day, we would gave some knowledge about English for them.
We gave them a piece of paper, it was a matching game. There were an English word at the left side, and a picture at the right side. They must choose the suitable answer between the words and the pictures. Nowadays, everyone need to learn about English especially started since they still young.
We took a break first before doing the next activity, the children took a long break time, maybe they feel confused after learning English. They bought some snacks and drinks, we also playing together and we had so much fun.
The next session, we taught them about colors, animals, greeting, and daily vocabularies. We said it first and then they would followed us. It's funny when hearing they spoke English, with the different Pronunciation. But, the learned fast, they can remember. We need to share knowledge to the other, we as an human we can help the other person by giving them a knowledge to, like we did for this 2 months. It's related to the second rule of Pancasila "Humanity". The time flies so fast, it feels like we just met last week, and this was our last day to teaching them.
My suggestion for this PAUD is about the facility, maybe the children need more facilities to motivate them, so they will come to the PAUD everyday. But when i talked with a teacher there about the facility, she said that the government hasn't give any help for them, so they feel confuse how they can improve the facility without any help from the government.
We got the good feedback from PAUD Ceria, they greet us and allow us to teach and share our knowledge. We are from different city, race, and religion, but we can mingle without differentiate each other. Thanks a lot for PAUD Ceria, i hope we can do this activity again. Thanks also for my groups, sir Nuah, and TFI
